This is my first time treating a strop so perhaps it's all my fault .....The tub that arrived was different to the one advertised....it was labeled lederbalm. There were no instructions,so after watching several tube videos etc. I set to work ..... after the balm was applied on my expensive strop, I found it nearly impossible to run the straight razor up and down it!!! It smelt fantastic but didn't work,so I spent an hour scrapping it off....
