The **Due Cigni 1896 cheese knife, 5 cm** is a small cheese knife that was specifically designed to cut the hardest cheeses. A crumbly piece of Parmesan cheese won't stand a chance with this practical cheese knife.


## Due Cigni 1896 handle


The handle is made from dark walnut wood. It gives the knife its classic and stylish look and feel. The handle is rounded and therefore feels amazing in hand. The handle was secured to the full-tang blade with three stunning rivets. To maintain the stunning colour of the walnut wood, and to not affect the sharpness of the blade, we recommend cleaning this knife by hand. Dry it after cleaning it to prevent discolourations or tears and to make sure the wood doesn't bend.


## Due Cigni 1896 blade


The blade is made from X50Cr15MOV stainless steel and has a smooth, razor-sharp edge. This type of steel is highly resistant to stains and rust. In addition, you can also easily sharpen it yourself, if, after some time, it has lost some of its sharpness.


## Due Cigni 1896 collection


The kitchen knives from the Due Cigni 1896 collection were designed by Oreste Frati. In addition to being the owner of Fox Knives, he is a gifted designer. For the design of these knives he looked at the design of classic European chef's knives. He used this design and made it his own. You can tell when you look at the flowing lines of the walnut wood handle. The thin blade ensures that the knives weigh next to nothing and are easy to use. The knives are produced in Italy.

Due Cigni (two swans) is a traditional, Italian knife manufacturer that has been producing top-quality kitchen knives, (pruning)scissors and saws for over hundred years. All products are produced in the Italian knife capital of Maniago. Some years ago the brand was bought by Fox Cutlery, also located in Maniago. They continued the Due Cigni tradition of producing fine, top-quality kitchen knives.
