Aluminium oxide (grain 240) to lap sharpening stones

The **Edge Pro aluminium oxide powder** can be used to lap and clean the [Edge Pro Sharpening system](/en/ct/edge-pro-sharpening-systems.htm) sharpening stones. They are suited for stones with grain sizes up to 240.


You use the powder in combination with water and, for instance, a lapping stone or a glass surface plate. You evenly divide the mixture of water and aluminium oxide powder over the stone or glass sheet. When you use a lapping stone you move the worn out sharpening stone over it in diagonal movements. If you choose a glass sheet you need to make circular movements.


If need be you need to add additional water and powder during use. After a while your stone will be as new again. Great because it means your knives will also become razor-sharp again!
