The ESEE JG5 is a special outdoor knife, designed by James Gibson. He drew inspiration for this knife from outdoor writer George Washington Sears' famous 'Nessmuk' knife. A pioneer when it comes to ultra-light camping and hiking. Under the pseudonym Nessmuk, he wrote stories and guides about canoe trips and other innovative journeys in the late 19th century. He used a specific type of knife: the Nessmuk. This ESEE JG5 is the 21st century incarnation of it.
