The **Kai Shun Tim Mälzer santoku** was designed by top chef Tim Mälzer. Originally the santoku is a chef's knife from Japan. In Japan this knife is often used to prepare sushi. This knife is indispensable in any kitchen. All in all, a beautiful, functional knife to be loved.

The Kai Tim Mälzer knives are enhanced with KAI's famous damask layered metal structure, combined with a very strong core of VG10 steel. The core of the blade is on the outside enhanced with 32 layers of stainless damask steel. The hardness of these blades is 61 ±1 HRC, which is exceptionally hard. As such this knife retains its sharpness for a very long time. The handle is made from brown walnut wood and feels very comfortable in hand.

Allereerst een prachtig mes om te zien en netjes verpakt in een houten opberg doosje (welke verstandig is te gebruiken)

Het handvat is wat kort wat perfect is voor mijn vrouw, voor wie het mes is. Maar ik merk dat ik hem ook voor alles gebruik en dat gaat wel prima.

Het mes is zoals je mag verwachten voor deze prijs er goed afgewerkt en vlijm scherp echt een genot om te gebruiken!!
