The **KME Super-Tuff ceramic sharpening stone, medium-fine** is a sharpening stone with a medium-fine grain size. As such the stone is perfect when sharpening blunt knives or axes. Our experience with these stones is that at first they feel incredibly coarse. By using the sharpening stone it will get its actual (medium-fine) grain size. In this case it doesn't concern a combination sharpening stone, but a sharpening stone that, according to the manufacturer, sits between a medium and fine grain size.

 The stone is comprised of brown aluminium oxide and comes in a wooden storage box that also serves as a sharpening stone holder. Add some water to the stone before use to decrease friction during use.
