You use these 3.5 and 5 micron Wicked Edge diamond pastes for that additional 'bite' on your strop. With each syringe, you can apply paste to your strop eight to nine times with which you should be able to do 30 to 40 strokes. So, in total you can use it 240 to 360 times.

They work. Very sticky, so go a very long way compared to thinner compounds. Wouldn't recommend for basswood or balsa. Do a reasonable job on leather, though.
