The ESEE Izula is named after an aggressive ant from the Peruvian jungle. This is to emphasize that despite its size you shouldn't underestimate this knife. The ESEE Izula is a versatile fixed knife. It will easily find a place in a bag or backpack or can be carried as a neck knife. Despite its size you can easily hold it. At the back you will find a large opening for your little finger to make sure you have an excellent grip. You could, of course, also make a paracord handle to increase the grip. And if you prefer a real handle ESEE also delivers those as an accessory. This, of course, will make the knife a little thicker.


The blade is made from 1095 carbon steel. This is strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen. It might be a little more sensitive to rust, but thanks to the high quality of the powder coating you won't be bothered by it. That is why we recommend to keep this knife dry and possibly slightly greasy.


The included plastic sheath looks amazing. The knife is properly secured and won't spontaneously fall out. This sheath also comes with a solid steel clip. You can attach it to the sheath to make sure you can carry it on your belt.

ich liebe es, was soll ich schreiben, es ist kein Schnäppchen, es hat Wartezeit aber es ist K U L T .
Ich habe es fast immer bei mir, es ist 42 a konform und ich liebe auch den Stahl. . .

La couleur m'empêchera de le perdre dans les bois!

La lame est bien affutée à l'arrivée et les finitions sont parfaites. Note que le dos de la lame ne permet pas de gratter un firesteel. 

Il faudra en revanche un peu de temps pour que la rétention de l'étui soit moins forte. Au bout d'une 50aine de foix, l'étui frotte moins et le couteau sort plus facilement. 

Très satisfait même si ça reste un peu cher pour un couteau minimaliste.

Mon second Izula, acheté pour la couleur! Le 1er a 3 ans, ne me quitte quasiment pas et se révèle le couteau le plus pratique que je possède : léger, efficace, extrêmement solide, je l'emmène en rando, course, VTT et pour la vie de tous les jours. Beaucpup plus adapté à un usage polyvalent quotidien qu'une lame plus encombrante.
Juste un peu trop petit pour la cuisine!
