Not as good as the standard model 4 sheath, in my opinion, but I don't have much else to compare it to. I prefer the standard sheath, it feels better, the level of force needed to click the knife in/out of the sheath feels more reassuring. I also prefer the look of the standard sheath. I think if you've always used Kydex, it's what you're used to, and you prefer the look, then it'll be every bit as good as the standard one, it just doesn't suit me and my uses.
