De Petromax FP30H-T skillet is een absolute topper voor op de kamado. Het robuuste gietijzer verdeelt de warmte perfect en houdt deze lang vast, waardoor je vlees mooi dichtschroeit en stoofgerechten gelijkmatig garen. Dankzij de voorbehandelde seasoned finish kun je hem direct gebruiken, en met elk gebruik wordt de natuurlijke anti-aanbaklaag beter.

De twee stevige handgrepen maken de pan makkelijk te hanteren, ook op een hete barbecue, en de schenktuitjes aan beide kanten zijn ideaal om sauzen of vet netjes uit te gieten. Met zijn stevige gewicht voelt hij onverwoestbaar aan – een pan die een leven lang mee kan.

Op de kamado heb ik er al veel succes mee gehad: pittige kippen-drumsticks met een knapperige huid, romige gnocchi met champignons en spinazie, en zelfs een mini-paella met garnalen die dankzij de gelijkmatige hitte een heerlijke rooksmaak kreeg.

Kortom: een veelzijdige, duurzame pan die elke kamado-sessie naar een hoger niveau tilt.

This is a great bit of kit. I can't understand why I don't already have one. I've used it for both fish and meat, and it is so much easier to have the ability to add a sauce and transfer to the oven after searing. Easy to care for and the cast iron looks quality and has a reassuring heft to it. Great value!
