Roselli kitchen knives are forged from steel developed by Heimo Roselli himself: UHC steel, or Ultra High Carbon steel. Thanks to the high carbon content, the knives are very hard, allowing them to be sharpened very thin and therefore razor-sharp. Roselli also offers kitchen knives with standard carbon steel, for those who love traditional steel that patinas beautifully.

Important though: carbon steel requires some maintenance and is less resistant to rust. But this material more than makes up for it with its impeccable cutting performance. Take care when cutting, though! These kitchen knives are not suitable for very hard ingredients or frozen vegetables. The blade is too thin for that. The knives are easy to sharpen yourself, but Roselli is also happy to help you with their free sharpening service. You only pay shipping costs to Finland.

The handles are made of curly birch: a beautifully flamed birch wood that is typically Finnish. This material feels natural, offers great grip and only gets more character with age. Each knife is perfectly balanced and comfortable to hold, even during long cooking sessions.
