The **Buck PakLite Field Pro 631GRS** is a lightweight knife for hunting and camping purposes, made in the USA. It's suitable for gutting game, but also for food prep while camping and hiking.




The blade of the Buck PakLite Field Pro 631GRS Green Micarta, fixed knife measures 10 cm in length and 3,7 mm in thickness. The total length is 21 cm.



## Blade Made of CPM S35VN Steel
The blade of this Buck  is made from CPM S35VN steel. This is a premium stainless steel produced by Crucible Industries in the United States. S35VN retains its sharpness well, is quite tough and offers good corrosion resistance. CPM S35VN was developed as a successor to CPM S30V, in collaboration with world-renowned knife maker Chris Reeve.



The ‘stonewash’ process was chosen for the finish of this blade. The stonewash process involves the blade being placed inside a drum with ceramic stones, or media, and then vibrated or tumbled for several hours. The result is a finish that looks precisely polished or roughened depending on the version. The advantage of stonewashing, however, is that signs of use are much less noticeable. That makes it a popular choice for knives that see a lot of use.



## Micarta handle 
The handle of the Buck PakLite Field Pro 631GRS Green Micarta, fixed knife is made of micarta. This is a composite material made of fabric and synthetic resin. If you look closely, you can see a subtle texture on the surface, sometimes it looks almost like wood. This material is strong and stable, and it's very grippy.
