The **Condor Cloudburst** comes in handy during all your chopping work in the garden or in the forest. The long handle adds extra strength with every stroke. Chopping is a piece of cake. The handle is made from very strong burnt Hickory wood.

 The axe head is made from 1060 carbon steel This means that the axe head is not rustproof. So always keep it dry. However, carbon steel is a property that many users take for granted, because it also has a number of advantages. It's easy to keep carbon steel razor-sharp and it doesn't break as fast as comparable stainless steel axes. And that's exactly what you want as an axe thrower.

 The edge has a convex grind. That means that the grind is round. The special thing about convex grinds is that there is no longer a secondary edge, but that the grind moves straight to the cutting edge. A convex grind has a strong edge that also cuts smoothly.

 The Condor Cloudburst comes with a brown, leather overstrike guard and a sheath. With an overstrike guard you protect the handle from damage. When you hit the wrong way and hit the block with the handle instead of the axe head, we call it an 'overstrike'. Sooner or later this could cause your handle to weaken or even break. The sheath is great when safely transporting or storing your axe.
