The **LionSteel M4 MagnaCut** is an all-round fixed knife designed by Michele 'Moletta' Pensato. It was designed as a knife for bushcraft enthusiast and other outdoor fans. Large enough for comfortable use and compact enough to take with you on hikes. On the one hand the design of this knife is very modern. On the other hand it looks like a classic hunting knife. LionSteel knows how to balance these two like no other. On the spine of the blade, around the transition of the handle, you find a small protrusion. So small you hardly notice it, but large enough to offer your thumb more grip.

## Knivesandtools Exclusive

This MagnaCut version of the LionSteel M4 was created through a collaboration between LionSteel and Knivesandtools itself. A great knife with a fantastic price-quality ratio, exclusively available at Knivesandtools.

## G10 handle

The subtle handle is made from black G10. A strong composite material that is made from glass fibre and synthetic resin. Very lightweight and offers a solid and pleasant grip. The deep black of the G10 provides a stunning contrast to the grey stonewash-finished blade.

## CPM MagnaCut steel

The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most talked-about steels in 2021 and 2022. Many feel this type of steel is 'perfect'. Quite the statement. But they are right. It is a stainless type of tool steel. With a comparable toughness and sharpness retention of carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than the popular stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. If that is not perfection, we don't know what is!

The LionSteel M4 comes with a right-handed leather belt sheath. The maximum belt width for this sheath is 8.0 cm.

Das Lionsteel M4 ist ein tolles und handliches Messer was in der bekannten Qualität gefertigt wurde. Daumen hoch, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

This knife is utterly disappointing. Heat treat is god awful. It came so soft I could roll over the edge with my fingernail. Because I liked the blade shape and handle so much i decided to resharpen it since i thought it was just a burnt edge from the factory. Boy was I in for some surprises. How I wish I returned that knife. I had to re-profile the edge 5 times before it would not just roll over. Just washing the damn thing with the ruff side of a sponge would turn a polished edge in to a course edge and it still can't hold an edge as long as my Bestech pocket knives in Sandvick 14c28n not to mention my Coldsteel  Recon 1 in s35vn (it's not even close). I now have it for 8 months and am on my 8th edge and it still doesn't perform well. Since I have no way to test the hardness I will just assume that it is either too soft or the heat treat is just garbage (or most likely both). I really wish I bought the M5 in 3v or the M4 in M390. If you are contemplating on buying this stir clear of the Magnacut version.

Matériaux haut de gamme mais gâcher par un angle d'aiguisage de 22° ce qui lui donne une coupe juste moyenne. Je l'ai donc renvoyé.
Il serait appréciable que toutes les pages produits contiennent la dureté HRC et l'angle d'aiguisage et que les consommateurs puissent les sélectionner dans les filtres.
