I bought this knife to cut overgrown roots in my garden.  It had a saw edge,  it wasn't expensive and it looked Ok
Frankly I was expecting something that was cheap and functional.  I was amazed. 
It was top of the range Japanese engineering, the saw edge demolished roots an inch thick, the other edge is razor sharp and the knife doubles as a superb trowel. This knife is incredible value for money
