The Skerper Pocket strop is a fine compact stropping paddle. You can make sure the edges of your knives become even sharper: from pocket knives to chisels and from kitchen knives to gouges. Because of its size you can easily use it on the road. Are you taking your knife on the road? If so this strop will be indispensable. The core is made of Oriental plane wood. Fine wood with a beautiful drawing of small stripes in the grain. The leather strop surface is attached to this on both sides. This leather is well finished with a smooth result. The other side is a little coarser in terms of leather and better suited for a compound or diamond paste with a larger grain size. But how exactly does stropping work? We will explain it to you! Very good product, it fulfills all its functions. Maybe it's a bit small for larger knives, but the materials are high quality and for the price, it's an excellent purchase.

Ottimo prodotto, materiali di qualita', e' comoda anche la scatola che puo' essere utilizzata per contenere lo strop. 
Un lato con la pelle liscia per stropping fine, un lato con la pelle ruvida per uno stropping piu' grossolano.

I'm not sure i would call it a "Pocket-Strop" or maybe i just have tiny pockets. 

Its a great strop for 12cm and below knifes. length/width is my ideal strop size. 

Both the smooth and coarse sides are great, using Jende emulsions (Higher micron on coarse, lower on smooth) and so far loving it. 

I would like seeing the Skerper logo on the wood, and not on the smooth leather side, just to have that extra 4cm of smooth surface. 
This isn't a deal-breaker for me, will most likely order more of these strops. 

The price for the strop is great for what you get. Sure, you can make one cheaper. But time is money friends. 10/10 product
