Customize your Zippo lighter with this **Zippo Butane Lighter Insert**. It is a lighter insert that replaces the standard Zippo insert. With it you turn your Zippo into a lighter that works with butane gas. In addition, this insert contains two burners, leaving you with a double flame. The soft-touch ignition is easy to light. This insert fits on all Classic Zippo lighters (but not in the Slim or 1935 Replica lighters).


## Using your Zippo for the first time


A zippo lighter is empty upon delivery. As such you need to [fill it before use](https://www.zippo.com/pages/product-guide-double-butane-insert?_pos=1&_sid=bdab5d695&_ss=r). It is best if you use the original Zippo butane gas to fill it. We are, unfortunately, not able to ship lighter fluid because of safety reasons.

De benzine versie was na twee dagen leeg altijd. Deze versie heb ik gevuld toen ik hem binnen kreeg en hij brand nog!!
Prima degelijke keuze,

Ok, het is niet  nostalgisch, maar wat heb je aan nostalgie als zo’n ding net leeg is als je hem nodig hebt!

Aan de andere kant, heb ik al minstens twee leuke gesprekken gehad, met vrouwen die me om een vuurtje vroegen en meelevend met me bleven praten ondsnkd dat de aansteker, met  toen nog benzine, weigerde. Moeilijke beslissing…

Ik kies toch liever voor goed gereedschap dat werkt. 



I've been using jet insert in my Zippo Armor since 2011. It was Z-plus Extreme 2.0 . Yeah, not official. But at that moment Zippo didn't make their own. On 2034 my insert finally died - it started misfiring every single time. So I decided its time to try the real Zippo insert. The impression is kinda mixed.  Lets start with two major flaws, comparing to my chinezium z- plus  First and main - NO WINDOW to control the fuel amount. Come on Zippo, its time to check the competitors before you actually starting a new product.  How the user should know when its time to refill? Second and its sorta a minor thing. The flames on real Zippo are absolutely parallel. Maybe it's good for lighting a cigar. I don't know. But on chinezium they were tilted at a certain angle so they meet at a "working" flame height. It was waaay more convenient. Never thought it would be that important.  The good things. First it works like  a charm so far.  The ignition button is not squeaky and feels like better quality. We'll see how long it will take. The spring latch  that holds the lid is stronger. So there is no wobble if you shake the light er.  Maybe I should have bought a single flame. It fits my Armor case tighter than  my previous. So far no doubts about the quality only minor complaints about the design itself. Read and think if they are that matter to you.

6x het boekje gelezen, 3 verschillende gasvullingen. Maar hij blijft weigeren. Soms na 15x klikken doet hij het eventjes.

Accessoires moderne pour mon autre briquet. Possibilité de régler l'intensité de la flamme très facilement. Contrairement à l'essence, le gaz garantie une utilisation facile même après une longue période de stockage.
